The mater bedroom is done. We put the finishing touches on it over the last week (hung the TV, frames, and curtains) and now we can finally enjoy it. Let’s start with the before:
Dirty carpet, broken blinds, dirty scarf window treatments, and builder beige paint that we’ve been trying to cover up in every.single.room. of this house.
And here is the after!
This room doesn’t get much light, so it is kind of den-like and cozy, which works for a master bedroom. I’m still thinking about a bench for the end of the bed, and we will eventually replace the carpet in here (along with the rest of the house), but for now I can move on to something else (but what?).
Here’s a quick run down of where everything is from:
Paint: Eddie Bauer Limestone (from Lowe’s)
Wall Art: frames around the TV are from Target (the prints are mine from our trip to Alaska), map art is from Target, and the set above the bed is from HomeGoods
Everything else: curtains are the RITVA panels from IKEA (I added the grosgrain ribbon trim), lamps are from Wal-Mart
