Severe weather tends to be the norm during the spring and summer here in Atlanta, but last Thursday we were hit with a more-severe-than-usual storm. It was reported as a tornado because there was some rotation, but the wind damage was the real culprit. The only ‘damage’ we experienced was a tree branch through the patio umbrella, but others were not so lucky. A neighbor about 4 houses down from us had a very large branch hit their roof. We had a lot of leaf and branch cleanup this weekend, and luckily the power was only out for about 8 hours. Here are some photos from around our neighborhood.
